It wasn't too long ago that I read the Vampire Academy series and fell in love with it. When I saw that it was a graphic novel I decided that I had to check it out. I really think that if you are interested in the series then you should read the actual books but I still enjoyed the graphic novel. It was a nice way to read the book over again in a very quick amount of time. I loved being able to actually see the characters instead of just imagining them. I think they were drawn well. I really like how Mason was drawn. He was my favorite. I pictured Natalie and Victor Dashkov and headmistress Kirova looking different but it still worked. One thing I didn't like is how much the graphic novel was missing. I understand they can't add everything, or what would be the point, but I just missed all the in between stuff. It covered the big/main parts so that was good. I am looking forward to reading the next one.
